Notes of Destiny

Notes of Destiny (previously Battle for Harmony) is a high-fantasy 2D-3D RPG set in the enchanting and richly imagined world of Melodonia, the Kingdom of Music. This unique game combines traditional RPG mechanics with rhythm-based gameplay, creating an innovative and immersive experience.

You play as a sentient Violin, a newly arrived hero at the Castle of Harmony, the heart of Melodonia. The kingdom, once a vibrant symphony of creativity and balance, has fallen under the oppressive rule of the War Kingdom. Melodonia's magical essence flows from the Anchors, powerful lodes that harmonize the kingdom's music and generate its strength. These Anchors have been seized, plunging the land into discord.

Your mission is to liberate Melodonia by reclaiming control of the Anchors, restoring harmony, and defeating the War Kingdom's forces. Each battle challenges you to master rhythm-based minigames to activate your abilities, blending strategy with musical precision. Success in combat depends not only on tactical planning but also on your timing and rhythmic skill.

With stunning HD-2D visuals, a richly orchestrated soundtrack, and a narrative that intertwines musical elements with themes of unity and resilience, Notes of Destiny offers a gameplay experience that is as emotionally moving as it is technically engaging. Will you bring harmony back to Melodonia and let its music rise again?

15th March 2025
- Project has officially stopped development.

Feb 2025
- Added healing at the fireplace.
- Revamped the Main and Pause Menus.
- Added Health Bars Over Enemies.
- Changed from fixed to Orbital Camera.
- Added more UI sounds.
- Added animations for dialogue system and text interpolation.
- Fixed several performance issues.
